The upcoming Olympians poster is as finished as it's gonna get. I thought you might like to see this step-by-step process of how it was made, from the finish all the way back to the sketch.
Actually yes, it starts at Book 1 (Zeus) then you go to Metis' story in Athena (Book 2), Book 3 (Hera) tells you about Perseus' descendant Herakles, Book 4 (Hades) includes Herakles' shade in the Underworld and Persephone's story, Book 5 (Poseidon) gives you hints on the divison of the cosmos and Poseidon's own story, Book 6 (Aphrodite) has the start of the Trojan War, and Ares (Book 7) I think you'll hear about the Trojan War and maybe Ares and Aphrodite's affair.
Mr. O'Connor, can you make a web series on this. Each comic book can be an episode.
PS. Are you gonna make some Egyptian mythology comics. You can make at least 5 (Ra: The Creator, Isis: Devoted Wife and Mother, Anubis: God of the Dead, Sobek: Crocodile God, and Tefnut: Moisture Goddess).
Oh, me again, can u make a webseries (perhaps 12) on the Egyptian myths. 1. Ra and the Creation 2. Nut's Kids 3. Osiris' Death 4. Isis resurrecting Osiris 5. Nepthys nursing Horus 6. Anubis and Funeral rites 8. Tefnut and the Evil of Man 9. Horus and Set 10. Thoth and the fight with Apep 11. Hathor and Sachmis/Sekhmet 12. Khnum and Nit
Is this the poster? If so it looks good!
ReplyDeleteThis will be the poster! And thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi George,
ReplyDeleteI picked up books 4 and 6, but I haven't read any other book in the series. I was wondering if they are meant to be read in order.
Thanks in advance!

I'm really looking forward to the Trojan War (from the perspective of the gods) in Ares: Bringer of War!
ReplyDelete(Any chance of Iris making a cameo in the book? Since Hermes is a participant, I remember that she's Zeus' messenger in the Iliad.)
Could you make a mini comic on Hestia?
ReplyDeleteI saw the olympians box set on Amazon.com and when is Ares: Bringer of War going to come out?
ReplyDeleteThis poster is amazing! Can I buy it on-line somewhere?
