Originally I was going to include the story of Menthe in Hades, but it got cut for space/thematic reasons. I suppose she could have been one of the other two that week.
ReplyDeleteThe other could be Leuce. If my memory is right, Menthe and Leuce were both mistresses of Hades who Persephone trampled into the ground. Menthe became mint and Leuce became a popular tree (see what I did there. poplar, popular. You know, because almost every landscape painting in existance has one)
