I'm teaching a comics class at the Pratt Institute!

Hey! Live in the NYC area, and got a hankering to spend your Sundays learning how to make comics with yours truly? As part of the Pratt Institute's Center for Continuing and Professional Studies I am teaching an eleven week comics course (for real college credit) for high school sophomores and up. registration is due very soon, so don't delay. I'll see you there!

  1. George,

I wanted to tell you that I had a conversation with one of our 5th grade students at dismissal yesterday. He asked me if I was going to teach my kindergarten students about Greek Mythology (I taught him all about it when he was in first grade). I told him I wasn't sure and then he steered me towards your books. He knows release dates and titles and went on and on about your work. He really hopes you are going to do Hercules and told me he thinks that will be the last book in the series. You have a fan at PS347! Well, make that a bunch of fans (me included).

  2. Hey Gary!

Well, for my 5th grade fan, here's some news--He won't have to wait until the end of the series to read about Heracles-- his twelve labors are covered in book 3, Hera: The Goddess and her Glory. Unfortunately, Heracles won't get his own book, but he'll be making plenty of appearances elsewhere as well, including a cameo in Book 4, Hades: The Wealthy One). The last book will be all about Dionysos and Hestia, and yes, will feature some Heracles as well.
